Spice Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 3cups water
  • 1cup oats
  • 1tablespoon packed brown sugar or splenda (sugarfree)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/8-teaspoon salt
  • 1/8-teaspoon allspice or crushed cloves and nutmeg
  • 3 cups double toned milk
  Directions: In a medium sized saucepan, mix water, oats, sugar, cinnamon powder, salt, allspice, and crushed cloves or nutmeg.   Bring to boil; reduce flame of gas stove. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes uncovered or till consistent, keep stirring. Serve with milk.
