- 3cups water
- 1cup oats
- 1tablespoon packed brown sugar or splenda (sugarfree)
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/8-teaspoon salt
- 1/8-teaspoon allspice or crushed cloves and nutmeg
In a medium sized saucepan, mix water, oats, sugar, cinnamon powder, salt, allspice, and crushed cloves or nutmeg.
Bring to boil; reduce flame of gas stove. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes uncovered or till consistent, keep stirring.
Serve with milk.
